In doing this lesson, I learned that you need to stop the class and change up what you're doing sometimes. For example, when the students were sharing the three-dimensional shapes they found around the classroom I was having them stay wherever they were in the classroom. Doing this activity this way I noticed that they were getting off task so I brought them back with an attention getter "Class, Class!" and redirected them back to the carpet and finished the activity.
After doing this lesson, my goals are to include more technology in my lessons and to make my instruction for assessment more clear so the students are not confused.
