Dr. Seuss's ABC is full of vivid imagery that is very attractive to early readers. The text, with regard to font type, size, and position, is very clearly intended for children. Based on everything I have learned about emergent readers so far, this ABC book would be helpful for students. For example, on each page, there is a letter and a recognizable picture of something that starts with that letter.
Dr. Seuss's ABC by Dr. Seuss is a fantastic way to teach an emergent reader the alphabet. In my internship classroom, I can see using this to do a project with letters and text. The teacher would read two letters each day and then the students would create two pages for their own alphabet book that they would work on daily.
