In August, we will spend the whole month reviewing the procedures for WW and building anticipation for students to receive their WN. In the physical classroom, we will tour the different areas where students are allowed to work depending on which stage they are in their writing and go over the rules about being in that area.
- Prewriting and drafting (located at the tables) is a quiet, independent writing time.
- Students who are sitting in the classroom library are expected to quietly exchange writing ideas and advice as well as peer conference with each other.
- Students who are sitting at the share corner are quiet and listening to the student who is sharing their writing and considering constructive feedback to give to them.
- Students who are conferencing with the teacher are participating in a discussion about their writing.
- Students who are are at the publishing area are quietly working on publishing their work.
